BACKGROUND
EnviroGulf Consulting ("EGC") was established as the Australian environmental consulting practice David Balloch & Associates Pty Ltd. in April 1991. The practice was formed as an individual consultancy based on the Principal's local and international experience over a period of 35 years (see CV).
The practice moved to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on 1 September 2006 and was renamed EnviroGulf Consulting ("EGC"). EGC entered into a Joint Venture arrangement with Links Corporate Solutions pursuant to Article 56 of UAE Federal Law No. 8 of 1984 (as amended) in connection with and for the purposes of the management and operation of the Joint Venture.
The Principal of EGC has carried out environmental consulting assignments and/or working site visits in the following countries: Australia, Papua New Guinea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Ghana, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
EGC is committed to providing professional, cost-effective services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of clients. The main objectives of the practice are to provide environmental management planning and specialised forms of consulting and technical services to private and public sector clients in the following fields: Oil and gas industry, mining and minerals industry, pulp and paper industry, HVDC electric transmission industry, forestry, resort developments, and other environmental consultants and consulting engineers, and government departments.
